Rochester Gas & Electric
Primesouth has an operating and maintenance
agreement with Rochester Gas & Electric to operate
its Allegany Station, and assumed operations January
1, 2004. The plant is a 62-megawatt combined cycle
facility utilizing a GE LM6000 gas turbine. Staffed
with 12 full-time employees, the plant is located in
Hume, New York, approximately 60 miles southwest of
Rochester.
Dell Power Plant
Primesouth will provide operations and maintenance
services for Associated Electric Cooperative Inc.'s
Dell Power Plant under construction in Dell
Arkansas. The plant is a 580 MW, natural gas fired
2X1 GE 7FA combined cycle facility, which is
expected to begin commercial operations in the
summer of 2007. Nineteen employees will operate and
maintain the facility.
